Domestic Violence Counseling Team
Creating Awareness to Stop Abuse
The C.A.S.A. Domestic Violence Response Team is a group of trained volunteer community members who respond to the police station immediately following an Domestic Violence Incident. The team provides 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week. Team members are trained to assist victims and their children through the immediate crisis, offering supportive counseling, information regarding issues related to the abuse they are experiencing and community referrals as needed. The counseling team members work in partnership with local law enforcement officers and the domestic violence professionals, each partner bringing separate and distinct skills into the collaborative project.
